Pros
Direct beachfront location with stunning sunset views over the Sound of Barra
Highly rated breakfast with diverse dietary options (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free) and cooked-to-order hot food
Pet-friendly policy allowing dogs in the bar and public areas
Spacious common areas and a terrace for outdoor relaxation
Cons
Some rooms are compact, particularly standard double and twin rooms
Staffing shortages can lead to slower service in the bar and restaurant
“This inn's quiet, secluded setting on the water provides a truly immersive escape, amplified by rooms that capture stunning sea views and sunsets. Evenings here are best spent enjoying the excellent, locally-inspired cuisine, a testament to the attentive staff who ensure a welcoming atmosphere. It feels like a place built for contemplation, where the elements are as much a part of the experience as the comfortable, well-appointed interiors.”
